Updating our Back Deck

It has been a long time since I've blogged, so there will be several new posts. Last year Jim and I took the week of July 4th off to work on our back deck. We were originally going to replace the pickets with metal banisters but decided to stain them to match the style of our house - not to mention the cost was much more wallet friendly. We chose to stain the pickets with a white stain and keep the floor and top of the handrails natural. I love how it turned out!  We love our back deck and use it almost daily!
