Amish Country Vacation

Jim and I took a wonderful week long vacation to Pa. to see the beautiful Amish country. This was the first thing we saw when we got into town!

We stayed at the beautiful Hershey Town Inn. Our room was in the old barn which was awesome! This is a photo of the restaurant at the Inn where we ate breakfast every morning.

We took a tour of Indian Echo Taverns.

We also visited the Hershey Chocolate Factory - I mean you can't go to Pa and not go to the Hershey Factory!

 The countryside was beautiful!

 All the homes in Amish country were beautifully landscaped and extremely neat!

 We had dinner on the Strasburg Railroad one beautiful evening!

We spent a day touring Gettysburg! After visiting the museum we did the drive through tour where you were given a map and drove through town stopping at different attractions.

We went antique shopping where I bought Malisha an old sleigh, visited the Harley Factory on Jim's birthday (that's what he wanted to do) and ate at some amazing restaurants. We had tickets to see Joseph at the Sight and Sound Theatre. OMGoodness, the play was ahhhhmazing!

This was an awesome vacation! Everyone should check out this part of our country at least once!
