What The Fulwiler's Have Been Doing

This weekend Jim, Al, Sue and I went to see Jeff Dunham at the McKenzie Arena at UTC. What a fantastic show, I can't remember laughing so much!
Here he is with my favorite character - Peanut.
Al & Sue waiting for the show to start - even the presentation that was showing while we waited was good!
Jim and I just before Jeff came out.
We stayed the weekend, so the next day we visited Chickamauga's Battlefield park. Next time we go down we will have to bring our bikes or maybe the Prowler. This would be a great place for a picnic and ride. There were cannons every where.

Jim asked me to do this - those that know me - are not surprised by this photo. ;)~
I thought this was a pretty monument.
What a cutie!
We walked to the top of this monument. The scenery from the top was beautiful!
It was a littly windy at the top - hence the wild looking hair!
It was a long long long walk up. Good thing I got my workout in before we went to the park!

We saw a lot of deer in the park.
I was trying to get some good shots since there were so many nice backgrounds.
Then Jim took the camera.
Saturday night we went to the Stationhouse restaurant in downtown Chattanooga. This is an awful shot - but I got tickled at the love song this guy was singing to me.
Marlene (Al's siter), me and Al in the restaurant.
Me and Al at the Chatanooga Cho Cho
One of the Group Leaders I work with just turned 40! We had a party for him a few days before his actual birthday so he would be totally surprised! Here we were showing a roasting presentation.
Eleanor & Brad - the birthday boy!
We had just passed around a photo of him dressed in drag! Yes, Brad had on a short dress, fishnet hose, gloves and a hat. He looked hot!

Linda, Dawn and Michelle taking it all in. No need trying to deny it Brad - we knew it was you by those sexy legs and fishnet hose!

Another Weekend Out-of-Town

Jim and I spent the weekend with Al & Sue. This is a photo of the front of his house with the Bradford Pear trees in bloom. The ones on the left are shaded by the neighbors pine trees, so it takes them a little longer before they bloom. They were in full bloom the next day and were beautiful lining both driveways. Al always takes us out to eat when we visit. This time he took us to the "Bald Headed Bistro". By it's name, I was thinking Texas Road House - Boy was I ever surprised. This place was by far the nicest restaurant I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and rustic - still not what I was expecting. We started the meal off with Cosmos and appitizers - delicious! Then we tried something we have never eaten and I must say, I didn't think I ever would. We had Bison (buffalo) - it was wonderful. Our meal also came with stuffed lobster, smashed celery root - another newby and steamed veggies. Dessert was to die for so I had to split one with Jim.
Two of my favorite people = Al & Sue. I truly do love you guys!
Me and my sweetie. The next day Al & Sue had to go to a funeral and he asked Jim and I if we would do some shopping for him for a good 52" flatscreen TV and entertainment center. He picked the right girl for this job. Jim and I grabbed our GPS and off to Chattanooga we went. We started the day out at the mall at Hamilton Place - this place is huge. After a little shopping and quick lunch, back to our mission we went. This is what we chose - a Samsung 52" flatscreen and entertainment center. He didn't want doors on his entertainment center and he didn't want it to be too big. This made the hunt a little more challenging, since he wanted such a large TV. He was pleased with what we got. We still have to cut a small hole in the back, but didn't have the right tools - we'll do that on our next visit.
He had just gotten up - I'll probably be in trouble for this photo - but he is just a sweetheart!
Another fun weekend - thanks guys!

My Friend Jonathan

This is my "Study Buddy" Jonathan. We are in Chemistry class together and we always study after class and on weekends. He is a smart kid and a great lab/class partner. He came over so I could help him get a scholarship resume together. Good Luck Jonathan!!!

I Love Warm Weather

The weather was so beautiful I wanted to get all those things done I had looked at all winter. I started the day out with a quick workout which always makes you feel good. When I got home Jim was already washing the cars, so I started taking down blinds on the main level, cleaned all the windows and washed the curtains. Having clean, shiney windows always makes me happy when the sun shines through. Even the puppies like it. :) After dinner, Malisha and I started clearing out more weeds on the lot we bought. Jim couldn't stand to see us working so hard, even though he had already put in a long days work - he drags out the chainsaw.
Malisha working hard. Look at the curve of the tree beside her. Makes a really neat attribute in a garden. I can't wait to start digging in the dirt and planting flowers. Blake riding by on his four wheeler stopped for a picture.

I am Second

I love to watch American Idol. Jason Castro was such a sweetheart and joy to watch. Click on the link below to watch how this young man speaks about becoming a Christian and singing songs for our Lord. http://www.iamsecond.com/#/seconds/Jason_Castro/

Beautiful Music at our Church

Once a year our Music Director's puts together a wonderful melody of songs. She ask for people from our congregation that can play a musical instrument to participate. Her son who is a music director at Dobyns Bennett High School is the conductor. The talent we have in our church is amazing. Malisha is below dressed in black playing the clarinet. Guess all those private lessons are still paying off - they were fantastic!
