Don Turned 75! and our Fun and Crazy, Busy, Easter Weekend

Our fun friend Don had a Big Birthday - 75th!  Wow, hard to believe Don is 75 and so much fun to hang out with. Sandy threw him a surprise birthday party at Rush Street. 

He is Facetiming with Jennifer while she is away in China on a large Eastman project. Everyone had tears in their eyes watching and listening to the two interact. Jennifer and Ally sang Happy Birthday along with us!  Such a touching moment!

 Elizabeth's first Easter!  No we didn't buy her much! ;-)

 

 

I used to make this cake for Sean and Malisha when they were little, so I thought I would carry on the tradition for Elizabeth.  Malisha and I decorated it together - fun mommy/daughter time.

Life is Good

I love spring time and being able to take Elizabeth outside to see all the pretty, colorful flowers. Everything is so new and exciting to her - love it!

 I promise I wasn't letting her eat craft paint. I had been repainting a birdhouse and she was taking the bottles of paint and putting them in and out of the caddy - she was helping Mamaw.

Allyson and I had some fun and relaxing "girl time" at Ise of Palms. We stayed on the penthouse floor of a beautiful beachfront condo right on the beach. The weather was PERFECT and we had such an awesome time laying on the beach, drinking Sangria, shopping and eating out! 

Poe's Tavern had awesome hamburgers made everyway you could think!

Here are a few pictures taken with a cell phone of our condo. It was on the penthouse floor and absolutely lovely! It is awesome having such great friends who call you up and say "hey, want to go to IOP for a week and stay in a condo on the beach for free"?  Ah yeah!!! :-)
