Busy December

After realizing her true calling, changing her major, getting married and having a baby Malisha completed her degree. I am so proud of her and she will be an amazing teacher!

 Of course I have to post pictures of my sweet Elizabeth. She is 7 months old in these photos.

 This sweet family is making wonderful memories! Elizabeth is 6 months old.

 I love this photo! She looks like she is pouting, but she isn't - she is a happy baby and everything goes into her mouth.

Jim and I love to start the Christmas Season out with a play at Barter.  On December 7th, we went to Barter to see "A Christmas Story" and then had an awesome meal at the Peppermill. I love date nights with my sweetie!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I love decorating for the holidays. Jim and I always start the decorating process the day after Thanksgiving since it is a long weekend for us. Decorating a new home is a little more challenging because you are trying to use things that were purchased for another house.  I know I will change things up every year, but so far I've been pretty pleased with how things turned out.

  Several years ago I took a "bow making" class so I always tie all my own bows.

 Malisha cross stitched this Santa picture for me several years ago and I had it framed and matted. Her crafting skills are amazing and I love this picture.

A Few Fall and Early December Entries

It warms my heart to see how much Jim loves Elizabeth and enjoys playing with her. She is such a happy and sweet baby.

Elizabeth was starting to get tired but no matter how sleepy she is, she loves the pups!

Our sweet friend Allyson bought Elizabeth an early Christmas present. She and I had gone shopping at "As We Grow" (love, love, love this store) and Allyson came out with this darling dress.

Jim and I were putting up Christmas decorations and Elizabeth was mesmerized by all the lights.

Happy Halloween - Elizabeth's 1st

Weekend with Elizabeth - love of my life!

This past weekend Jim and I got to keep Elizabeth overnight while Malisha and Eric celebrated their anniversary. She is growing so much and smiling at everyone. I love seeing Jim interact with her and how much he loves her - they are just too cute together.

We took her for a walk around the neighborhood and went to a playground at the church down the street. There were several bails of hay there so we took some cute pictures of her sitting on them. 

She loved swinging and squealed and smiled the entire time. 

I also made a yummy chocolate dessert and yes - Elizabeth got some too!
