Sweet Faces of Elizabeth

Jim and I got to keep Elizabeth overnight this past weekend. We haven't got to for a long time because her mommy was breast feeding. Now that she is done with that - no excuses! ;-)
While Pepaw was fixing pancakes for breakfast I decided to capture a few pics of my sweetie!
She looks like she is saying "put a ring on it"!  Not to worry, I don't think her daddy will let her date until she is 40!

I guess her thumb was tasting good until the pancakes arrived.

Ice Skaters, Shopping and Memorial Day Swimming = Fun!

Eastman recognizes their volunteers with a dinner and guest speaker at the Eastma Lodge. This year our guest speaker was Dr. Debi Thomas - Skating World Champion, U.S. National Champion and Olympic Bronze Medal winner. She is now an Orthopedic Surgeon!  Wow, talk about accomplishements however, she was very down to earth and humble.

During our long Memorial Day weekend Jim and I went to Asheville to shop and eat. I looked up restaurants in Asheville so we could try something different. Moe's Original BBQ had a 4.5 star rating so we decided to try it.  It was a hole in the wall but OMGoodness the food was great!!
We had another fun time at Chris and Allyson's eating great food, swimming and hanging out. Malisha brought Elizabeth and she loved, loved, loved the pool.

Allyson's sweet little 87 year old mom also came and loved holding Elizabeth.  You can't see it in this first photo but Elizabeth was patting Ms. Wilson - so sweet!
