Giving to Others

I am on the Board of Directors for the Kingsport Area Safety Council. Small Miracles Therapeutic Riding Center had a need for some safety equipment, including helments, lighting, first-aid kits etc. They sent me a letter stating what they needed and I took it before the board. The board approved a donation for $600.00 to buy the needed items for SM. I presented the check to them at our annual Eastman sponsored meeting at the lodge on Monday. Both of these organizations do wonderful things in our community and I am proud to serve on the board for the KASC!
During this Thanksgiving season, we all need to remember how blessed we are and do what we can to help others.

UT Homecoming

Chris, Allyson, Jim and I attended the UT / Ole Miss Homecoming game in Knoxville. We had an awesome time tailgating, eating, cheering on UT and enjoying time with wonderful friends.

Go VOLS - yes we won 52 - 14!

After the game, we picked Wilson up and went to dinner at PF Changs - it was delicious! We then went to the West Town Mall to do a little shopping! Had a wonderful time with some wonderful friends!

Dixie Stampede and Outlet Shopping - yeah!

Jim, Malisha, Chelsea and I went to Pigeon Forge to the Dixie Stampede's Christmas show. It was so much fun. The show was great and the food was just as good! I loved the scene of Baby Jesus, especially when the angel came down and a live dove flew to her hand. We had perfect seats and even sat beside some friends from work. After the show of course we had to do a little outlet shopping and Jim was a real trooper! He put up with three women going to almost every store! I did get some of my Christmas shopping done and this has really put me in the holiday mood!
