Taking Piqo to PetSmart for his Birthday

Yesterday was Piqo's 1st birthday and mamaw promised to take him to PetSmart. :) He loves riding in the car and all the attention he gets when we take him out - not to mention new toys and treats!

I received this in an email and thought it was so true and worth sharing.

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone.

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn ' t live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go... .hmm...where IS my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don ' t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected.

And no dropped calls!

Sean's last trip home

Sean came home this weekend for the last time for at least 6 months. After church we all went out to eat at the Olive Garden. Two of his best friends, Steven and Aaron joined us. Aaron and Sean

Chris Turns - What 60!

Chris turned 60 so we all got together at their house and enjoyed swimming in their new pool, eating BBQ and of course he had to have a UT cake. Happy Birthday young man! The Birthday boyDon and Toni - who's fingers are those?:)

Learning A New Dance

I just now got around to down loading these photos. We had a class reunion meeting at my house. This is Allyson, Dwayne, Pam and me. Dwayne wanted to teach us a new dance. This is Dwayne, Allyson and Pam practicing in my living room.

30th Class Reunion

This year was my 30th class reunion. We did not get a very good response, but the ones that did respond wanted to get together anyway. Sooooo, guess what - we got together at our house. We had a wonderful time and it was great seeing everyone again. That crazy Dwayne

Pam wanted to take a moment and remember those who had passed away. She brought music, candles and together we had prayer. Here we are in a circle listening to the song "Go Light the World". Pam this was such a wonderful idea.
