Retiring

Yes, I'm retiring after more than 38 years at Eastman Chemical Company. I have loved my job at Eastman but look forward to spending more time with Jim, my kids and granddaughter!

Happy 4th Birthday Elizabeth Ann

Elizabeth's 4th birthday party was awesome! The weather was amazing and everyone had a blast. Jim and I bought her this big waterslide and Malisha and Eric bought her the trampoline. Elizabeth Loves Gymnastics

When Elizabeth comes to our house she loves to tumble "with and on" Mamaw and Papaw which usually leaves us sore the next day. We are swinging, bouncing and jumping with her until we can barely move! Malisha thought she would enjoy going to gymnastics and OMGoodness she LOVES it!

Motorcycle Ride and Farmer's Daughter

I love hanging out with our motorcycle group! They are truly great people and a lot of fun! We went for a sweet ride to Bulls Gap through Greeneville then stopped at Farmer's Daughter for dinner and back home through Jonesborough.  Beautiful ride!

 

 

 

 

Sign Painting Party

Malisha loves crafts which means I usually get involved someway. Her latest craft has been Sign Painting Parties, so of course mom had to have one and join in on the fun.  The party can consist of 6-10 people, hosted in your home with snacks and lots of laughs. I invited a few of my sweet girlfriends and we had a blast! I will definitely do this again - possibly in the Fall or for Christmas!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Harley

Jim bought a beautiful red Harley Street Glide last summer. We had a lot of fun riding with friends but with the knee replacement he had a few years ago he wasn't as comfortable riding with me on the back. He was always afraid his knee wouldn't work quickly enough and we would lay the bike down. We started looking at the new Harley Trikes and really liked them. Well with a little encouragement from me we bought a new 2017 Harley.

It came with several "large" manuals. This thing has more bells and whistles than either of our cars do.

Monday, February 20th the weather was beautiful so I took a day of vacation and we hit the road with Kim and Celeste. We rode up to South Holston Dam which is very pretty!

 

 

This little cutie (Sydnee) was checking out our bikes and asked if he could sit on them. He was so cute and friendly - not a shy bone in this little guy!
